The Karunalayam Trust has been formed to meet out the various objects in the interest of general public of the community. The current programs are given bellow:

1. Providing help and arrangement for food, free rice distribution to needy people.
2. Organising medical camps and providing free medicines to people who are below poverty line.
3. Organising spiritual lectures, prayers and meditations under the auspices of spiritual organisations for getting peace of mind.

The future programs of the Trust

1. Provide free accommodation and medical attention to the destitute old aged persons.
2. Construct a Hall to conduct free medical camp and counseling.
3. Provide proper accommodation and facilities for those old aged persons who are financially sound on payment basis.
4. Establish a Research Centre to study the problems of old age persons all over the world and suggest remedial measures. Conduct necessary training courses to geriatric care. The service of such trained persons can be allotted to the old age homes.
